摘要：行驶环境不断恶化是北京市自行车交通出行比例下降的主要原因之一，亟须提出有效对策改善行驶环境。从自行车交通的特点及其在北京市城市综合交通体系中的功能定位入手，阐明自行车交通对城市交通、城市生活的重要性。围绕北京市自行车交通行驶环境中的突出及难点问题——路权问题，展开深入的调查分析，剖析单幅路和三幅路存在的主要问题并提出改善方案。分析了在临近交叉口段将右转机动车道和非机动车道互换的不当做法及缺点。同时，指出北京市道路建设不重视植树问题，强调应该在保证交通安全的前提下增加高大乔木的种植力度。

Bicycle Travel in Beijing: Problems and Solutions

Abstract：The deteriorating condition for bicycle travel is mainly responsible for ever decreasing bicycle volume in Beijing, which illustrates the urgent need for improvement. By analyzing the characteristics of bicycle traffic and its functionalities in urban comprehensive transportation system in Beijing, this paper emphasizes the importance of bicycle travel for urban transportation and in residence life. Focusing on the critical issue of available right-of-way, the paper discusses the existing problems and improving measures for dividing road and three parts of road respectively based on survey data. The paper analyzes the disadvantages of exchange between right-turn lane and bicycle lane adjacent to intersections on several roads in Beijing. The paper also points out that roadside landscaping with trees should be encouraged in road construction while maintaining roadway safety.
