缓解城市交通拥堵的交叉口优化设计实践——以鄂尔多斯市为例

摘要:如何缓解城市中心区交通拥堵是各大、中城市关注的焦点和亟须解决的问题。围绕鄂尔多斯市东胜区交通改善设计和工程实践,提出宏观和微观两个层面的交通改善思路及策略。以微观层面的交通改善为重点,提出交叉口优化设计的方法框架。针对东胜区中心区29个高峰时段拥堵严重的交叉口,以宝日陶亥街—达拉特路交叉口为例,详细阐述优化设计步骤及内容,包括交叉口空间和信号配时的优化设计等。在单个交叉口优化设计的基础上,以鄂尔多斯大街为例,对整条主干路提出绿波控制方案。评价结果显示,优化设计方案使29个交叉口整体通行能力提高23.27%,饱和度均优化至1.0以下。

Intersection Design Optimization for Urban Traffic Improvement: A Case Study in Ordos

Abstract:How to relieve traffic congestion in urban central area is becoming the key challenge requiring immediate action plans in large and medium cities. Based on the design and implementation of traffic improvement projects in Dongsheng District in Ordos, this paper proposes macro strategies and micro measures for traffic improvement. Focusing on the micro level of traffic improvement, the paper presents a methodological framework for intersection improvement design. Targeting the 29 congested intersections during peak hours in central area of Dongsheng District, the paper elaborates the application of intersection improvement methodology at Baorihehai Road and Dalate Road in two aspects: spatial layout and signal timing design. Based on the improvement design for individual intersections, the paper proposes a green wave control (signal coordination) for Ordos Road. The evaluation results show a 23.27% increase in total capacity of the 29 intersections and a reduction in V/C ratio (volume to capacity) to less than one for every intersection.
