广州市快速公交潮汐客流的应对措施

摘要:为有效应对广州市快速公交早晚高峰潮汐客流问题,通过客流调查、交通仿真、实车演练等方法寻求应对措施。首先,从系统模式、BRT通道和车站、客流情况几个方面介绍了广州市快速公交系统的概况。针对BRT潮汐客流问题开展客流调查,分析客流一般规律及车站客流分布。围绕动态借道、静态借位、灵活线路、始发分流、智能调度几项措施,分别探讨了具体方法及应用案例。分析结果表明,实施这些应对措施以后,公交车辆上下客时间控制在45 s内,公交运营速度提高84%,沿线市民搭乘公交出行的方便度和舒适度得到提高。最后,指出BRT试验线的不足,并从交通一体化角度提出发展快速公交的思路。

Action Plans for Improving BRT Passenger Flow during Morning and Afternoon Peak Hour in Guangzhou

Abstract:Aiming at morning and afternoon peak hours passenger flow of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Guangzhou, this paper discusses the congestion countermeasures based on passenger survey, traffic simulation, and vehicle experiment. The paper first reviews Guangzhou BRT system in terms of the system structure, BRT corridors and stops, passenger flow, and etc. By analyzing the characteristics and distribution of passengers at each stop based on BRT passenger survey during morning and afternoon peak hours, the paper illustrates several specific measures and the action plans, such as reversible lanes, capacity reserve, flexible routes, traffic diverging, and intelligent scheduling. The analysis results show that the improvement plan results in a reduction in bus pick-up/drop-off time to less than 45 seconds and a 84% increase in bus travel speed, as well as an efficient and comfortable travel environment for bus travelers. Finally, the paper outlines the shortcomings of BRT pilot line and the integrated BRT development.
