摘要：苏州古城区体现了完整的古老文化和传统艺术的结合，是重点保护的核心区域。目前古城区是苏州市社会经济发展的重心，大量的行政、商业、文教卫生用地仍然集中在古城区。但是苏州古城的路网结构先天不足，造成古城区内部交通压力过大。从停车需求管理的角度探讨了如何减轻古城区的交通压力，达到保护古城风貌的目标。

Parking System Planning and Protection of Archaic City

Abstract: As the key protect zone of Suzhou, the archaic city perfectly integrates both the old culture and the old arts. Nowadays the archaic zone is still important for the economy of Suzhou, the administration, business and education are largely centered in the archaic zone. But the network structure of the road has some historical disadvantages that give a large pressure of transportation to the archaic zone. The demand management of parking is advanced to lighten the transportation pressure and protect the historical style of the center zone of Suzhou.
