城市道路交叉口出口道可变车道设置研究

摘要: 为缓解城市道路交叉口的交通拥堵,提出在交叉口出口道设置可变车道的交通组织方法。首 先对城市道路交叉口出口道可变车道进行定义,明确可变车道的设置位置为出口道内侧。在对其设 置的约束条件进行分析后,研究了出口道可变车道的车道数、车道长度、车道开闭时间等设置参数 和相应的配套措施。最后以济南市经十路—舜耕路交叉口为例,具体阐述出口道可变车道的设置方 法。济南市交通调查数据显示,出口道可变车道每信号周期可放行8~12 辆左转车辆。仿真数据进 一步验证了在一个信号周期内,东西方向左转交通量增加63%,停车线后最大排队长度缩短35%, 左转车辆平均延误减少29%。

Design of Reversible Exit Lanes at Urban At-grade Intersections

Abstract: To alleviate traffic congestion at urban at-grade intersections, this paper proposes a method for traffic management through designing reversible exit lanes. The paper first presents the definition of reversible exit lanes at intersections, and points out that only the exit lane adjacent to roadway median can be reversible. By analyzing the constraints of the reversible lane, the paper discusses the design parameters of reversible lanes, including the number of lanes, length, time of utilization, and corresponding supporting measures. Finally, the paper elaborates the application of the method using the intersection of Jingshi Road and Shungeng Road in Jianan as an example. Traffic survey data in Jinan shows that the number of left turn vehicles discharged by the reversible lane is between 8 and 12 during each signal cycle. Simulation data further shows that east and west bound experiences a 63% increase of left turn volume, 35% reduction of the maximum queue length at the stop line, and 29% decrease of average delay of left turn vehicles within a signal cycle.
