摘要：苏南地区区域交通建设与城市空间拓展不协调的矛盾日益突出，内外交通衔接不畅成为制约城市可持续发展的瓶颈。为解决这一问题，首先分析了苏南地区现状区域交通与城市交通的衔接方式、设施现状，并总结现状存在的问题。探讨苏南地区区域交通与城市交通的发展态势及设施规划，进而提出区域交通与城市交通衔接战略：促进各种运输方式有序衔接、注重客货交通时空分离、加强区域复合型通道的规划建设、采用多样化的衔接布局模式。

Integration Strategies for the Regional and Urban Transportation Systems in South Jiangsu Region

Abstract：Lack of coordination between the regional transportation development and urban land use development has resulted in inconsistent development patterns and poor connections between regional and urban transportation systems, which bottlenecks the sustainable urban development. To address this problem, this paper discusses the existing roadway connecting layout and facilities as well as the problems between the regional and urban transportation roadway network in south Jiangsu region. By studying the development trends and roadway system planning of the region and urban area in south Jiangsu region, the paper proposes the integration strategies for linking  regional and urban transportation systems together through promoting the connecting plans for various transportation modes, separating passenger and freight traffic by space and time, enhancing the comprehensive planning and construction of multimodal transportation corridors, and diversifying the connecting patterns.
