摘要：引入交通语言的概念，研究交通语言对交通系统运行指标的影响模式，指出不合理的交通语言容易产生交通问题。针对交通管理对交通语言的需求提出面向交通管理和信息服务的交通语言设置方式。最后，阐述基于交通语言的有效交通管理措施有：通过交通导向分离不同需求的交通流；分层次设置交通语言；信息量集中处采用分散设置的方式提高信息发布效率。研究结果可作为交通管理方案制定和实施的参考。

A Better Usage of Traffic Info-Terms in Traffic Management

Abstract: This paper focuses on finding ways and ideas to reach traffic management goals through a better use of traffic info-terms, including an introduction of concepts of traffic info-terms, a study of impact patterns of traffic info-terms on operational performance measures of a transportation system, and an analysis of traffic issues that are easily caused by unreasonable traffic info-terms. With respect to needs of traffic management in traffic info-terms, the paper proposes effective traffic management approaches grounded on traffic info-terms, like traffic guiding signs to separate traffic flows, traffic info-terms defined in a hierarchical manner, and multi-spot displays of traffic information along road segments with plenty of traffic information so as to improve the effectiveness of information distribution. The findings of this study are instructive in developing and implementing traffic management scenarios.
