摘要：从1998年开始，南美洲国家哥伦比亚的首都波哥大市实行了全新的交通改革策略，并迅速取得了具有实效的成功。波哥大模式的城市快速公交系统和发展模式作为一种典范，在全球范围内获得了一致的认可和赞誉。通过了解相关的背景资料，对波哥大快速公交发展的经验进行了总结。在中国各大城市的决策者以及公交行业相关人士积极应对城市交通和发展的挑战时，波哥大快速公交发展的经验和成果应该具有特别的借鉴意义。

Chinese Cities Can Learn from Bogota's Experiences with Bus Rapid Transit Development

Abstract: Starting from 1998, Bogota, the capital of Columbia, implemented a brand new and integrated public transportation reform, and quickly reached an exceptional success.  The Bogota BRT model is appreciated and becomes a paradigm for cities around the world.  The author visited Bogota and collected the background information, summarized as well the experiences and achievements of Bogota BRT and urban developments.  While practitioners in the Chinese public transit industries and cities's decision-makers are taking actions to meet great urban transportation challenges, the experiences and achievements of Bogota's comprehensive and integrated public transportation development can be a timing and valuable lesson to learn.
