摘要：在目前国内的城市规划、设计和建设当中，交通设计没有作为一个独立的部分来完成，缺乏功能性的考虑，重视程度不够。交通系统效率、交通秩序和安全性往往是通过合理、巧妙的交通设计来实现，因此交通设计是自上而下，体现交通规划理念和原则的重要组成部分。围绕步行交通、交叉口、停车、交通换乘枢纽四个方面，针对国内外交通设计存在的问题和经验，阐述交通设计的思想，并用实例来证明其应用的合理性。

Experiences Concerning Urban Traffic Design Problems

Abstract: In current practice of urban planning, design and construction in China, traffic design has not been treated as an independent part, lack-ing enough consideration of its functionality. Through an appropriate and ingenious traffic de-sign, efficiency, orderliness and safety of a trans-portation system can be achieved. Traffic design is a top-down process, reflecting the important el-ements of transportation planning concepts and principles, and taking into account issues related to pedestrian traffic, street intersection, parking, and transit transfer centers. According to experi-ences in traffic design gained at home and abroad, this paper presents some ideas about ur-ban traffic design with examples showing the ra-tionalities of those ideas in real-world applica-tions.
