摘要：目前国内城市的居民出行方式结构普遍呈现不合理的倾向，而城市发展的要求和需大于供的现状都迫切需要一个合理的居民出行方式结构。本文通过比较广州市1998年和2003年万户居民出行方式结构的调查数据，分析导致结构变化的内在原因，并结合其他城市的交通情况，阐述了广州市自行车、摩托车、小客车和公共交通等几种主要出行方式的管理特征，最后根据广州市一些成功经验，总结归纳了在出行方式结构管理方面的对策和建议，希望能给国内相关城市提供借鉴。

Enlightenment on the Variations in the Structure of Guangzhou Inhabitant Mode Share

Abstract: An unreasonable tendency prevails on the structure of inhabitant mode share in domestic cities at present. The requirement of city development and situation of traffic supply behind traffic demand need a reasonable structure of the mode share. By comparing the relevant data of investigation of myriad inhabitant trip between 1998 and 2003 in Guangzhou, the paper analyzes the inner reason of variations and expounds the management characteristics of bicycle，motorcycle，car，and bus in Guangzhou combining with the traffic situation in other cities. In the end, it concludes some advices about the structure of mode share management on the base of the successful experience in Guangzhou.
