Neil Pedersen, executive director of the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, announced he will retire in the early fall of 2022. The National Academies will launch a nationwide search for Pedersen’s successor. We at TRB want to thank him for the exceptional leadership he has provided over the past seven years, and by the look of the comments that have poured in on LinkedIn, we are not alone! Neil also wrote a retirement letter to colleagues, friends, and stakeholders.
