摘要：如何合理利用有限的城市交通基础设施、应对大量瞬时客流是举办大型会展活动必须解决的问题。分析了广州市琶洲地区的实际交通条件，明确了广交会面临的道路交通、公共交通、停车设施、交通组织等方面的问题。针对会展客流和城市日常客流两种类型，预测广交会日客流规模将达到34.8万人次，大运量客运方式分担比例将超过80%。据此，提出琶洲地区的交通组织策略，如新建、延伸多条轨道交通线路，设置4个对外交通枢纽，围绕地铁站设置6条接驳公交线路，提供会展地区进出交通路线图并提前发布交通信息等。

Traffic Management Strategies for Annual China Import-and-Export Expo in Guangzhou

Abstract：How to effectively utilize the existing transport infrastructure in urban areas for temporal large traffic generated by big-trade Expo events is a great challenge for any big cities in China. By analyzing existing transportation in Pazhou area in Guangzhou, this paper identifies the problems that China Import-and-Export Fair (Canton Fair) faces in managing road traffic, public transit, parking facilities, and traffic control. Based on the travel demand forecasting (generated by Canton Fair plus the daily commuting), the daily passenger travel will reach 348,000 and the 80% of travelers will be on mass public transit. Given the above situation, the paper proposes the traffic management strategies, such as constructing and extending rail transit routes, designing four connecting terminals and six connecting bus routes surrounding rail stations, providing traffic entrance/exit route map and related information in advance.
