摘要：介绍了芝加哥中心区交通规划建设情况，重点从道路网络、公共交通、步行和自行车交通等方面解读中心区交通体系，分析其交通出行特征以及所采取的交通发展策略。总结中心区交通发展的经验，认为解决城市中心区的交通问题要从以下几个方面入手：构建强大的公共交通系统，打造立体化的道路网络，倡导多元化交通方式，实施交通需求管理等。

Chicago's CBD Transportation Development: Experiences & Implications

Abstract：Through an introduction of transportation planning and construction in Chicago CBD in terms of road system, public transportation, ped & bike system, and so on, this paper analyzes the travel characteristics and transportation development policies. The paper summarizes experience of transportation development in Chicago CBD and identifies measures to solve traffic problems in CBDs, including a powerful public transportation system, a freeway network, a multimodal travel market, and a travel demand management strategy.
