摘要：改革开放30 年来，广州市 交通问题日益突出，亟须探索符合 可持续发展的城市交通规划理 念。系统回顾了广州市城市交通 规划与实践历程：从20 世纪80 年 代交通理论与实践探索起步，到 90 年代对城市交通整体研究与系 统建设，再到21 世纪强调交通引 导城市发展，城市交通规划的理念 随着社会经济的发展与时俱进，也 促进了交通建设、实践更加科学。 实践表明，在交通方式转型的关键 时期，及时做好交通应对措施对于 引导城市交通可持续发展具有重 要作用。最后，指出广州市城市交 通发展的新趋势——更加注重大 区域交通，重视轨道交通、交通管 理，以及与生态环境相结合。

A Review on Guangzhou City Transportation Development in the Past 30 Years

Abstract：After 30 years of the economic reform, Guangzhou city traffic problem is getting worse. It is time to review and exam the principles of the urban area transportation planning in the past 30 years for a sustainable urban transportation system in the future. This paper presents a systematical review of Guangzhou city transportation planning and development in the past three decades in three stages. The initial development, started in the 1980's, was focused on the planning theory and applications that are suitable to unique urban transportation development in China followed by the development in the system integration in urban planning and development in the 1990's. As the country economic development advances, the content and objectives of transportation planning have become complex, sophisticated and more science-oriented. The contemporary urban transportation planning is guided by the sustainable transportation principle as an integrated part of the urban planning. Finally, the paper stresses the new transportation development in Guangzhou should emphasize the regional mobility, rail transit services, traffic control and environmental friendly travel.
