深刻理解现代交通管理与规划的理论与模型,熟练运用各种数理统计分析方法和交通规划软件,如EMME/2,Enif,TransCAD等;有较强的科研及独立承担咨询项目的能力。主持的咨询项目包括大连城市总体规划交通专项、石家庄城市综合交通规划、南阳市中心城区综合交通规划、厦门综合交通规划、株洲市综合交通改善规划等。作为专项负责人参与的咨询项目包括:温州停车专项规划、密云新城综合交通规划、温州综合交通规划、天津塘沽综合交通规划等。主持和参与的国家和部级科研项目包括:交通需求预测组合模型研究、城市中心区交通拥堵收费研究、城市轨道交通线网规划编制标准等。2001年作为项目负责人负责《株洲市综合交通改善规划》,获中国城市规划协会2001年度全国优秀规划设计三等奖。
至今在国际著名期刊和国际会议上发表专业论文30余篇。其中,SCI收录四篇(全部为第一作者),EI收录三篇(全部为第一作者)。发表的论文包括论文:
