Abstract: In response to the trend of population aging in megacities and the need to address mobility barriers faced by the elderly, it is imperative to enhance age-friendly transportation services and spatial governance capacity. From the perspectives of facility environment optimization and policy and regulatory improvement, this paper systematically reviews the latest domestic and international research progress in agefriendly transportation. Grounded in the current challenges in intelligent mobility for the elderly, and leveraging artificial intelligence technologies and multi-source data, the paper develops an intelligent mobility monitoring platform tailored to the elderly in megacities. The platform comprises five system modules and integrates key technologies, including travel activities perception of the elderly based on multi-source data, high-precision reconstruction of mobility chains, identification and delineation of comprehensive daily living circles, and service level monitoring and development guidance for age- friendly facilities. Taking Guangzhou as an empirical case, the paper conducts typical scenario applications. The results demonstrate that the platform achieves remarkable application effects in multi- dimensional governance scenarios, including high-precision spatial distribution deduction of the elderly, construction guidance for age-friendly facility retrofitting zones, a "toolbox" for age- friendly community renewal and upgrading, and solutions for age-friendly intelligent mobility services. The platform enables dynamic perception of the mobility demand of the elderly and precise allocation of facility resources.
