以多元需求平衡为导向的街道设计 ——以《阿布扎比街道设计手册》为例

摘要: 饱受汽车拥堵困扰的阿布扎比,迫切需要寻求向可持续交通发展的转变,《阿布扎比街道设 计手册》(以下简称《手册》)应运而生。《手册》以步行优先为前提,以体现多元需求平衡为特色, 按照行人-公共交通-自行车-机动车顺序划分通行优先权等级。同时结合“用地环境属性”与“道 路承载力属性”提出街道分类与指引,尤其在街道功能划分与模块化横断面设计方面独具特色。在 引导阿布扎比的街道设计向更人性化和可持续发展转变的同时,其诸多创新和亮点同样值得中国城 市在发展转型中借鉴,以促进城市交通发展模式的稳步转型。

Street Design Based on Multi-demand Balancing: A Case Study of Urban Street Design Manual in Abu Dhabi

Abstract: To relieve severe traffic congestion and promote the transformation to sustainable transportation development, Urban Street Design Manual has been released by Abu Dhabi. Emphasizing pedestrian priority and multi-demand balancing, the manual proposes to allocate right-of-way in order of pedestrian, public transit, bicycle, and motorized vehicles. Based on land use context and roadway capacity, the manual presents the street classification and corresponding guidelines as well as functional classification and standard cross- section design. While promoting people- oriented and sustainable street design in Abu Dhabi, the manual is also helpful for the transformation of urban transportation development patterns in China.
