摘要： 街道设计对城市道路交通基础设施建设和公共空间环境营造起着重要作用，很大程度上决定 了城市形象特色和市民出行文化。构建活力街道、创造美好生活是杭州市街道重塑的目标。结合当 前街道设计发展的理念，回顾进入21 世纪后杭州市街道设计与改造的实践历程，总结各阶段的问 题与经验。杭州市在街道改造过程中经历了从单一的道路工程向完整街道改造的转变过程，其街道 改造的亮点是关注步行与骑行空间和街道文化。以湖滨步行街区和延安路为例，展望G20 峰会后、 2022 年杭州亚运会前，以世界名城为目标的杭州在街道设计与实践中的新探索。

Building Vibrant Streets and Creating a Better Life: A Case Study of Street Design and Practice in Hangzhou

Abstract： Street design plays an important role in the construction of urban road transportation infrastructure and public space environment, which determines the characteristics of a city and travel behaviors of citizens. The goal of remodeling streets in Hangzhou is to build vibrant streets and create a better life. Based on the current concept of urban street design development, this paper reviews the practical progress of street design and renovation in Hangzhou after entering the 21st century, and summarizes the problems and experiences in each period. In the process of street renovation, Hangzhou experienced a transformation from a single road project to a complete street renovation. The highlight of street renovation is the focus on walking and cycling space and street culture. Taking Hubin Pedestrian Street and Yan'an Road as examples, the paper elaborates the new practice of street design in Hangzhou, a world-famous city, after the G20 Summit and before the 2022 Asian Games.
